  • Hiranyakashyap & Prahlada:- Hiranyakashyap – the king of demonic Asuras, who considered himself a God and wanted that everyone should worship him as a God. Prahlada, son of Asura Hiranyakashyap, he was having the strong belief to the Lord Vishnu, but Hiranyakashyap did not like his such devotional towards God. Hence the king decided to kill his child Prahlada through Holika (Hiranyakashyap’s sister ). Sister Holika had the blessing that her body could not be set on fire. Once Lord Krishna, asked her mother Yashoda why Radha is so fair and white but he isn’t like her. After hearing such an innocent question, Mata Yashoda jokingly told them that if you rub Radha’s face with colour then she will also be like you. Lord Krishna did the same with Radha and other Gopis to get the same colour on everyone face.
